I find it sad that ladies starve, hide, and surgically-remove the parts of themselves that make a woman most attractive because of this false image/message the media presents. The allure of the curve has never gone away, people still hold up Miss Monroe and Julie Newmar as icons of perfection, yet many ladies these days don't have the self-confidence to embrace that for themselves.
When you're not comfortable in your own skin, you wear it like a black cloak everywhere you go & you're at the whim of others' opinions, but when one loves what one sees in the mirror, everyone around can see it & nobody can touch that confidence.
Thank you so much!
(...and thanks for dealing with my rant. )

You're preaching to the choir on that one. I've always been a fan of people (well OK, women, but there's some guys too that fit into this) that both KNEW and ACCEPTED that they were beautiful even though they were not a size two or even a size six. And they didn't yo-yo from one extreme to another continually trying to change who they were.
Now, if only society would wake up and reinforce this, we'd have a lot more happy children/teenagers and a lot less screwed-up and obsessed adults.
That said, stay curvy, I'm a big fan of curves.... angles, not so much!!
